We accept jobs that most contractors turn down because it’s too small or outside their skillset. For example, if you need to install a sink, assemble a bed AND patch your drywall, we’ll send someone who can do all three in one visit. As long as it’s small stuff, we can say yes!

Frankly, we’re surprised people are even asking you to provide the tools. We’ll bring all the needed tools to the job. If we forgot something, we will not charge you for the time it takes for us to go purchase it.

Some of us carry over $5,000 of equipment & materials in our vehicle just so we’re ready for the unexpected. Large equipment, like miter saws, can’t be stored daily in a vehicle. We keep it ready to go in our office. 

We specifically chose a payment system of tipping and hourly rates because it puts the value of our work in your hands.

Hourly. Only get charged for the time we put in. You can also reduce the cost of our visit by making the project efficient & clear. By unpacking boxes, prepping the area, and etc. you can decrease our work time by as much as 40% .

Tips. We charge an hourly rate and rely on tips to make up our real value. By relying more on tips, you’ll get to decide if our service was worth it, and whether or not we really were fast & efficient!

What happens if something goes wrong? Online listing services aren’t accountable, leaving only bad reviews as the option. Independent handymen have little incentive, and may drop calls or disappear.

As a local team-oriented business, we rely on long-term reputation. So when issues arise with one of our handymen, we have accountability & resources to resolve it. 

We refer to our handymen as a supportive family of ‘Otters’ who focus on building relationships with each other and our clients. You’ll know if someone is in our family through the badge they carry.
